Carolina Select Soccer Club has the best coaching staff in the Upstate of South Carolina!  We're extremely proud and privileged to have such an experienced group of coaches working with our children.

Our Coaches:

Jim Finnerty - Director of Coaching

Jim Finnerty now holds his Premier License from NSCAA.  The Premier Diploma is the pinnacle of the Residential Academy offerings.  It is a 50 hour course designed to teach advanced methodology with full-sided soccer (11v11) as its focal point.  Jim also holds the "C" license from the USSF and looks to get to the "A" license with the USSF.  Jim played professional soccer in New York and in North Carolina. Jim is a two time All-American and was inducted into the Hall of Fame in his home town and at Fredonia where he played college soccer. Jim was also an assistant coach at the college level for two years.

Anthony Cutrone - Technical Director

Anthony currently has his Advanced National License. He played Professional soccer in New York. Played D2 at Lock Haven University where they PSCC champions and national quarter finalists. As a youth player he played on the New Jersey State team. He has coached three club teams to a State Cup Final including our current U12 boys team. Anthony was also the Assistant Coach for the Fort Mill Girls High School team that was a State Championship Finalist in 2005.

Chris Bachner

Originally from Michigan, Chris graduated from the University of Michigan Business School in 2006.  Chris was All Region & All State Center-Mid in high school.  Since then his team was the intramural soccer champs three years running.  In addition, Chris has coached youth soccer in Michigan.  Chris is currently in HR in a Charlotte manufacturing company.  We look forward to his excellent teaching and leadership skills.

Bob Blaschke

Bob grew up overseas playing soccer and played club ball during college.  He has been involved in the Tega Cay Rec program at various levels from coaching to working on the advisory board and referee coordination.  He has coached at all levels of recreational and club soccer for 15 years as well as assisted both the girls and boys Fort Mill High School JV teams.  Bob has his NSCAA Advanced Regional Diploma and USSF D License.

Mike Cahill

Has his Advanced Regional License and has played professionally. Mike works with the Fort Mill Boys Varsity team.

Lloyd Chalker

Lance Dempsey

Played for Queens University and the Laredo Heat.  In club play, his team was conference champion four years straight.  Lance has coached at Queens Soccer Camps as well as for Fred Norchi and Oliver Carias.  Lance will be completing his D license requirements this summer.

Khrys Dundr

Holds USSF National "C" License and will be attending the "B" Course this summer in Ohio. Played college soccer at Bluffton University.

Ryan Morris

Currently has his State License. Ryan is from Jamaica where he played professionally. He coaches the Fort Mill JV boys team and has worked with our U13 and U18 boys teams in the past.

Elton Ramey

Elton played for Methodist University in Fayetteville, NC, as a goal keeper.  He has coached U14 boys travel ball in Wilmington and instructed individual and group training sessions.  He most recently assisted the NFHS Boys Varsity and Junior Varsity teams as a goalie coach.  Elton will be working on his Advanced Regional License this summer.
